Accessibility statement
We want this website to be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Last updated: November 2, 2026.
Our commitment
We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA across all pages: sufficient contrast, clear focus when using a keyboard, form fields with visible labels, and content that works with screen readers.
What we do on our pages
Pages use semantic structure, images with text alternatives, keyboard-operable accordions, and a visible skip link. The site is designed mobile first, and text can be resized up to 200% without breaking the layout.
Known limits
Embedded map directions point to Google Maps, whose own accessibility depends on that service. Some visual content, like shared photos, may not yet include final text alternatives until provided images replace placeholders.
Tell us what's hard to use
If something on this website is hard for you to read, reach, or use, please write to contact@esmah.org or call (206) 502-2056. Describe the page and what got in your way — a real person will read your message and fix what we can.
